With wall-to-wall glass, this contemporary home takes full advantage of the most striking views you will ever experience.
Securely embedded on the 60 million year old basalt rock foundation Mother Nature laid down, this home is perched at 170 to 180 feet above sea level. At this height, you are close enough to feel as though you are on top of the waves. And at 180 ft. above the curved World, one can see over 15 miles into the Horizon to experience some of the most stunning sunsets on earth. At this level is perfect for spotting gray whales, orca, sea lions, and pelicans diving for dinner. The three local bald eagles are often spotted within meters of the edge of the deck.
On a rare day the ocean will be as calm as a lake in this secluded cove located directly around the corner from Neskowin’s South Beach. On a stormy day you can experience waves crashing at the point that measure over 100 ft.!
You’ll enter into the upper level with it’s open living space. You’ll sit with a view at the 8-person dining table. Or, you and your friends might want to enjoy spending the evening sitting around the 14′ long quartz top island in the galley kitchen which boasts high end Thermador appliances including a double oven, separate fridge from freezer, and an induction cook top.
While the chefs are preparing the meal, you all can enjoy a wood burning fireplace while watching the 60′ plasma or taking in the view. A pantry and a modern powder room are on this level as well.
The lower level has two King size master bedrooms and a lounge area which provides additional big screen television viewing and additional sleeping space with a queen sleeper. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom with walk-in showers that continue the contemporary theme of the home.
Each bedroom and the lounge have wall-to-wall glass with sliders providing access to a 44 ft. wide deck which puts you even closer to the water below. Access to the hot tub is at the end of this deck. Even the view from the hot tub is unsurpassed.
Depending upon your mood you can enjoy an inside fire or choose from the fire bowl on the deck or the outside fire pit for a beach fire yet steps away from the conveniences of home.

Carol and I made it home ok and the house had was still standing. I finally finished unpacking and came across the Tidal Travels site. I have spent about ½ hr checking it out. Great photos supporting a really interesting and useful site. I can’t wait to use it on our next trip. I also listened to a bit of your music. Next trip I want to see a live performance. Many, many thanks for your generosity and hospitality. It was a great pleasure meeting you and wish we had a little more time to visit. Warm regards, Ken and Carol
This place is amazing!

We were lucky enough to stay here during a trip up the coast, and we are definitely planning a return trip. We had planned to explore the area while we were there, but found we really had no reason to leave since this place has everything. Bobby is quick to respond to any issues that might come up, and is a true professional when taking care of this property. The views from the kitchen are unreal (along with the views from the bedrooms, living room, dining room, upstairs deck, downstairs deck, hot tub, fire pit… pretty much everywhere.) Waves crashing on the rocks in the cove below is one of the most amazing things about this place. Can’t wait to return!

Honeymoon Get Away
When we arrived, the house looked better than what the pictures showed. We stayed for 5 nights for our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier. The home is very comfortable and has incredible views of the ocean on its own cove. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils, and cooking in was a breeze. Our days were filled with sightseeing and hiking, and each day we always looked forward to returning back to house. The fireplace in the home was a nice touch and was useful this time of year. Bobby was a great host and recommended good restaurants in the area. We cannot wait to go back again sometime in the future, and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and views.

Once again, did not Disappoint
Our second trip to this perfect location on the Oregon Coast. All though both our trips out to the Oregon Coast were ruined by constant rain, hail, and thunder storms, everything about this property is perfect. Bobby was the perfect host. A gas grill is supplied with the house rental, but we asked Bobby if we could purchase a small charcoal grill and leave it there, since we were flying home and could not take it with us. Bobby told us not to worry about it, he had a charcoal grill he could let us use. Well…when we opened the front door, right by the kitchen counter was sitting a brand new, still in the box, Weber charcoal grill, a new bag of charcoal wood chips, and lighter fluid. Because of the severity of the storms we were experiencing, Bobby did call and left a message on my phone asking if we needed him to bring anything by the house; batteries, candles, etc. Luckily we did not lose power during our entire stay. The addition of steps behind the hot tub platform was a very welcome upgrade. Even though we are a mid-50’s couple, we had a good time with the Teen Table Topic cards which are in the games cabinet. There’s no wrong move when selecting this property as your Oregon getaway, just hoping you have better luck with the weather than we did.

Heaven
This home was the perfect place to spend a chill weekend. Tons of space. The sound of the ocean was unreal. Comfortable and clean. Lots of great places to beach walk, or hike close by. I will definitely return here.

Spectacular and sun-drenched
This is a retreat designed to put the ocean at your feet, always within your view and within earshot, in spectacular fashion. The house is steel, concrete, and stone, modern and uncluttered in design, yet with enough wood and color to keep it from becoming stark or sterile. There isn’t a single window treatment in the place, but because of the orientation the house is private. When the sun is out in the afternoon, opening the glass sliders cools it right off, even in August. The kitchen, which has the whole wonderful view, includes a 5 burner Thermador induction cooktop, double Thermador convection ovens and a 1.75 L Cuisinart blender, among other amenities; there is plenty of counter and bar space and the unit was far better outfitted with utensils than is usual for even a luxury rental. There was a Weber Q-type propane grill (takes 16.4 oz Bernzomatic-type propane bottles) on the deck beyond the kitchen; it looks tiny but was more than up to searing four large strip steaks (a whole chicken might be too tall). The entry and a dining area with a very large table are to the right of the kitchen; to the left is a seating area with a TV (very basic cable), a large modular wrap-around sofa, and a techno-look fireplace that we found worked quite well. There is also a half-bath upstairs. Downstairs, there is a seating area in the center room with a TV and a large modular couch that includes two single-bed-sized ottomans. Next to a “bar sink” is a closet holding a Bosch front-loading washer and drier. There are two essentially similar bedrooms to either side: king-sized beds with big fluffy comforters….and again, no window treatments, even though the deck runs the length of the downstairs and the hot tub is outside one of the bedrooms. Interior doors have translucent glass that let in yet more light. Stair railings and bathroom counters are high, designed for adults; the bathrooms were wonderful. We had family members who didn’t like the reading light from the other bedroom spilling into theirs, but we thought that was a small thing. The fire pit to the north of the house is a steel box surrounded by friendly round pea gravel; the sides of the box kept the evening breeze from bothering the fire, and the ocean view is unobstructed by the house. The manager was very helpful whenever we had questions. This is not your grandmother’s condo, but we would definitely recommend it! (We didn’t see any Ping-Pong table, but we didn’t rent the extra suite.)

Unbelievably Beautiful
My husband and I spent 4 nights here with another couple. The house was fantastic. Very modern with modern appliances with all of the bells and whistles. On our second night, we enjoyed the hot tub around sunset. It was rather chilly outside, but once in the hot tub it was amazing. As we were relaxing and marveling over the view, an eagle flew right past us. We saw an osprey fly by occasionally, but this time it was an eagle. Very cool! We also spied sea lions in the ocean from our balconies. We made s’mores in the fireplace. We enjoyed movies on the flat screen TV. But mostly, we stared out of the windowed walls at the beautiful scenery. We had a minor glitch with the home, but the owner was very responsive and accommodating. Thanks so much for the hospitality!!

Beautiful, modern home with absolutely stunning views
My husband and I just finished our stay and we can’t wait to go back. The house is exactly as pictured and described – modern, clean and exremely well equipped. Everything we could possibly need was provided from kitchen utensils and appliances to extra blankets and pillows. Both bedrooms have large king memory foam beds (sooo comfortable) with wonderful down duvets. The bathrooms all have walk in showers with multiple jets with great bonus features like great water pressure and instant hot water There aren’t enough superlatives to the describe the views. Spectacular and lovely from almost every room in the house, hands down my favorite place to watch the waves was in the hot tub. I’d return just for the hot tub! The owner/manager was wonderful to work with – very responsive and friendly with excellent suggestions on where to hike, dine etc. The house is so conveniently located and everything you want/need is within a 20 minute drive.

Exceptional Property… Unique & Stunning Oceanside Accommodations!
My husband and I stayed here along with our two small children and 2 other couples. We were beyond impressed by the comfort and location of this amazing property. The home is clean, contemporary and ultimately so inviting. The gourmet kitchen is stunning and a great place to gather while cooking with a glass of wine overlooking the giant deck and private cove. Bedrooms are spacious, bedding is SO comfy and the ensuite bathrooms are fantastic. We also rented the 1 bedroom adjoining apartment and found it to be as stylish and accommodating as the main house. Did I mention that there are gorgeous views from every room in the entire house? Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s essentially an impressive great room with a wall of windows. So cool. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious reprieve at the coast. Plus, the owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We hope to revisit someday!

Amazing!
The view is breathtaking. My family was mesmerized by the sound and feel of the ocean; it was like hovering above it in a glass and steel fortress. The cove changed with the tides and sunlight. I felt like I was in a private National Park setting. The house is stunning! Great design, a very modern and user friendly home, the house was almost as amazing as the location. Both levels were top notch as were the furnishings. There was a huge TV in the main part of the house, but the views were so specular we never turned it on! What a stunning place. There was a lot to do. There are amazing hikes in the area. The village of Neskowin below should be on the list of Historic places. But we did not venture out much because with such great views it was hard to leave. We found we wanted to get back to enjoy the view some more when we did. Thank you for sharing it and being so kind and easy to do business with. We will be back and be sure to tell all our friends.
