I am Steve Power, I have been a photographer most of my life. I had a darkroom when I was young and was taught the relationship between time, f-stop at an early age. My uncle Ed, my dad’s brother, was a great photographer in his time and took me under his wing. He taught me to show up early and then wait for the light, to look into the corners of the image to see what is being captured within the frame, and to pay attention to the negative space, the background, and how it helps the resulting image. Over the past few years I have joined a photography club and with their help I have learned about composition, the rule of thirds and the overall balance of an image. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I do.
